About

Cloverdale is a curated garden brand offering a focused selection of roses, dahlias, and peonies inspired by our Oregon gardens and timeless traditions. We work seasonally, choose carefully, and grow and source thoughtfully— creating a collection gardeners can return to season after season.

Growing up in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, my life has been shaped by the abundance that grows here. Fertile soil, changing seasons, and a culture rooted in agriculture make it a place where growing feels both natural and deeply meaningful. From an early age, the garden became a place of creation for me. A place to work with my hands, experiment, observe, and make something beautiful over time.

What began as a personal garden, filled with cut flowers, shared tubers, and long weekends of tending, gradually became more intentional. Over time, growing shifted from abundance to discernment. I became more interested in which varieties truly performed well, which felt timeless in the garden, and which earned their place season after season rather than offering fleeting novelty.

Today, Cloverdale is a curated garden brand offering a focused selection of roses, dahlias, and peonies. We work seasonally and release plants in limited windows, honoring the natural pace of growing and planting. Our collections are intentionally small, created for gardeners who value quality, beauty, and confidence over endless choice.

Our dahlias are estate grown, planted and cultivated with tuber production in mind. Each season, we grow, evaluate, and harvest our own stock, allowing us to understand every variety firsthand. Alongside our own growing, we partner with thoughtful, expert breeders to introduce distinctive varieties that feel both current and enduring.

For peonies and roses, we collaborate with trusted, established growers who share our standards for plant health and integrity. These partnerships allow us to offer exceptional peony roots and licensed bare root roses, carefully selected and timed to arrive when planting conditions are right, so gardeners can begin with strong, healthy plants.

At its heart, Cloverdale exists to help gardeners grow with intention. To choose plants with confidence, to create gardens that feel personal and lasting, and to experience the quiet satisfaction that comes from growing something beautiful, season after season.

I’m glad you’re here, and I hope Cloverdale becomes a place you return to as your garden grows and changes over time.
