Shipping
Cloverdale ships live plants, roots, and tubers within the United States only. Because our products are seasonal and perishable, all orders are shipped according to planting timing rather than immediately after purchase.
Seasonal Shipping Windows
- Bare root roses ship in late winter, timed by USDA growing zone to support optimal planting and establishment.
- Peony roots ship in fall while dormant for proper root development.
- Dahlia tubers ship in spring after the risk of freezing temperatures has passed.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination. Rates reflect the cost of protective packaging and ground delivery to ensure plants arrive in good condition.
Carriers & Delivery
Orders are shipped via ground service using USPS. Transit times vary by location. Once an order has shipped, tracking information will be provided.
Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and receiving shipments promptly. Cloverdale is not responsible for delays or damage caused by extreme weather, carrier delays, or failure to retrieve packages after delivery.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout. Cloverdale is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
